Safeguarding & Online Identities

Audience: Everyone

Nowadays we are encouraged to sign up every time we want to use a new service online. This means we end up creating multiple profiles and sometimes the line between personal use and professional use merges.

We care about how we look and are perceived in person so why not talk about how we are perceived online?

Your online identity is important because it affects how you appear online to not only friends and family but also employers.

In this session

● How do you appear online
● The do’s and don’ts of interacting with students on social media platforms
● What and what not to post
